Today we celebrate Presidents Day, the third Monday in February.

It was originally established in 1885, to honor George Washington. Now it is popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. Presidents, both past and present. Many people use this day to stage celebrations that may be of a patriotic and/or historical theme. Whatever you chose to do to enjoy the day, please remember that all of our country’s leaders need uplifting and prayer. It’s not an easy task trying to uphold the constitution, and protecting the people that live in our country each and every day. Hopefully we can all learn to give some level of respect to our nation’s leaders, even if our social, economic, or political views differ from theirs.

Have a great upcoming week and stay positive. Remember to bring a SMILE with you, and to leave a SMILE with someone you meet along the way.
