As we begin to move into the winter months, we are blessed to say we are growing yet again at Cleaner with Dean.

It was both an honor and pleasure to serve along side the employees and all of the other volunteers, at the annual CHOICES Inc. Christmas Party this past weekend.

‘Tis the season to be jolly is officially upon us. THANK YOU to our employees at Cleaner with Dean for their generosity and giving spirit this holiday season. We had our annual Christmas Party this weekend. We celebrated the past year, and spoke of the journey that is yet to come.

For the last several weeks, we have been asking you to join us in bringing SMILES and JOY this holiday season to the foster care children that are in the care of CHOICES Inc. in Kettering Ohio. Well Dayton, your hearts were ones of true giving and a warm holiday spirit. We have been overwhelmed with your support and responses in wanting to help.

There are still several days remaining to sign up with Cleaner with Dean and support CHOICES and their foster care kids / families to be a SMILE Partner. You can drop off a box / barrel at your location starting November 1st.

At CHOICES Inc. they are beginning the process of seeking assistance in collecting toys, gift cards, and monetary donations for Christmas. This will ensure that each one of the foster care children in their care, know the true JOY of the Christmas spirit. At Cleaner with Dean we are looking for SMILE PARTNERS that care for the kids with the same passion we do.

Fall is finally upon us. Leaves are beginning to change colors, apple cider is on the shelves at the store, and pumpkins patches are sprouting up everywhere as you drive throughout the community. We had a Cleaner with Dean / TRIBE get together this past weekend. The weather was perfect, with a slight breeze and lots of sunshine.

The family theme continues this week at Cleaner with Dean. Got several questions this past week, talking about how there are so many different definitions of the word family. It’s a strong word for us.

At Cleaner with Dean we call ourselves a TRIBE. It’s a culture that encircles the following value system… Trust, Respect, Integrity, Believe, Encourage. Actually, it’s all about coming together as a family, both at each office we service and outside of work. We recently got to spend some time with “OUR FAMILY.”

We got to visit and learn about the Life Enrichment Center on Findlay St. in Dayton last week. What a great gem the city has with the Center. We were glad we could meet their Executive Director Jeff Sorrell as well, and donate a commercial sweeper to the Center to assist their staff and volunteers in keeping all of their carpet swept and clean.

It’s that time of the year again, when we celebrate and support CHOICES Inc. Their Annual Voices for Kids Breakfast will be Thursday, September 13th from 8:00am–9:00am.

When people see a SMILE, it puts you at ease. Many say it’s the window to the soul. When freely offered, no means of expression has the ability to make a complete stranger feel better or more compelled to return the favor.

As we go through our work week, we often do not get the time just to hang out, as we are on the go… often we are just too busy. I found myself this week taking a few minutes to hang in the shade.

Throughout the Miami Valley, we have so many great area restaurants and food choices to feed our hunger cravings, it literally can make your head spin around and around.

We built our process so you are satisfied with our service time and time again. If you are not happy, we make adjustments so you will be happy. After all, we like to see everyone with a Big Smile.

Cleaner with Dean would like to take the opportunity this week to congratulate all of the seniors graduating from high school or college. We are blessed to have many students from Springboro, Centerville, Miamisburg, and other neighboring schools working for us. Job well done by everyone, The Class of 2018.

Take me out to the ballgame! Great to experience a good baseball game at Fifth Third Field with the Dayton Dragons. Enjoyed a company outing with our employees.

It’s time to head south for a week, as the local schools take their scheduled break. It’s all about the fun in the sun for many families and their friends. I hope everyone gets a chance to see lots of rays and maybe a wave or two from the ocean in the coming days.

The Girl Scouts are out in force, selling their delicious cookies again. Make sure you buy a box or two from the young ladies if you run into them, and help support their organization. #Delicious

It is always great to get together as a company to do something enjoyable. This weekend our FUN Committee put today a bowling party. The pins were falling, strikes were occurring on multiple lanes, and a good time was had by all.

Today we celebrate President’s Day. A holiday that our country honors the past Presidents of the United States. Our country’s founding Fathers had such great insight to the needs of the people they served. They understood that everyone’s freedom was at the center of this great nation.

This past Friday we celebrated the traditional announcing of six more weeks of winter or an early six week arrival of Spring. Spring has been postponed according to Phil. I can’t say that I’m overjoyed with that thought, but we will make the best of what Mother Nature gives us!

I truly hope that everyone enjoyed the bright sunshine we had yesterday in the Miami Valley. Sometimes it’s just the little things, like the rays of light coming down from the sky, that brings a smile to us all.

For the majority of us, we know our place of birth and who are parents are. My origination took place in 1963, through the idea of “a dedication to good cheer and good works.“

No one man did more to change the climate of social unrest, than the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. did. He truly pushed that we always move forward in all that we do and say.

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. Festivities, food, and cookies fill the day. Wishing everyone a Happy and Festive New Year.

As Christmas approaches, Cleaner with Dean and it’s employees took time to enjoy a holiday lunch and gather toys. We were able to help the foster care children in the care of CHOICES Inc. in Kettering. Proud that everyone was so generous in bringing gifts for the children during this holiday season.

This weekend the Miami Valley saw its first snowfall. I’m guessing the first of many to come this winter. Old man winter is finally upon us to stay I’m guessing. But never fear, I can sit warmly by the fireplace as Jack Frost nips at my toes.

Well, I managed to get my tree up and get my cottage decorated for the upcoming Christmas Holiday. It’s fast approaching – 21 days till St. Nick gets here (yeah!).

With this past weekend the official start of the Holiday shopping season, I like to see all the evergreen trees that the local stores sell. I love the fresh outdoor smell they create in our home!

I am proud that our employees were able to help the Southern Hills United Methodist Church with their food pantry this past week. We were able to donate turkeys to help them top off their food baskets, for those in need this holiday season.

I spent last week in Las Vegas. What a resilient city! Through their recent tragic event, the city seems to be moving forward with grace and heart. #BigSmiles #VegasStrong #LVMPD

I went to a wedding this weekend. It was a beautiful ceremony, that saw two young people start their life journey together as one.

Hard to believe that it is officially the season of fall! Makes you realize how important it is to make sure you take time to relax. Can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of the year.

With the unofficial end of summer upon us (everyone just finishing their Labor Day weekend), I thought I would visit the local sunflower patch on Yankee Rd. in Centerville, OH. Such a beautiful place to see.
